Dr. Jesimen T. Chipika
Dr. Jesimen Tarisai Chipika is a distinguished Zimbabwean economist and policymaker, currently serving as a Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) since her appointment in April 2017. In this role, she also chairs the Deposit Protection Corporation, contributing significantly to the country's financial sector governance. Dr. Chipika holds a Bachelor of Science Honours, a Master of Science, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics, all from the University of Zimbabwe. Her academic career includes lecturing at the University of Zimbabwe from 1985 to 1998.
