Mr. Richard Byarugaba
Richard Patrick Byarugaba is the Ag Executive Director of Finance at Bank of Uganda. He's known also for his tenure as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) of Uganda from 2010 to 2022. During his leadership, the NSSF's assets grew significantly, from UGX 1.7 trillion in 2011 to UGX 17.9 trillion by the end of 2022, with membership expanding to over 1.3 million Ugandans.
